A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the current school year in a K-12 day center serving students with severe cognitive impairments. This onsite role requires experience working with AAC and assistive technology (AT) devices to support student communication needs.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide speech-language services to students across K-12 with severe cognitive impairments
- Utilize augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) and AT devices as part of therapy
- Manage a caseload consistent with Michigans maximum limit of 60 students (final caseload to be discussed during the interview)
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in line with school requirements
Qualifications
- Valid SLP certification with CCC preferred; SLP-CF and SLPA candidates will not be considered
- Prior experience working with K-12 students, especially those with severe cognitive impairments
- Strong knowledge of AAC and assistive technology tools
- Ability to work effectively in a structured school environment
